Welcome Stranger was formed 8 years ago in 2000 by Aussie Simon Larcey, Brit Nicholas Watts and Australia’s favourite expat, TV personality Clive James.

From a small lounge room in Fulham, Welcome Stranger has come a long way. Originally a dot com business incorporating AussieinLondon.com, KiwiinLondon.com and BokinLondon.com these three websites evolved into one and became InLondon.com. From here launched In London Magazine and in 2008 a total re-brand to WelcomeStranger.com, a new magazine and social networking website. Understanding our target market and being aware London is only one of the many cities our itinerant audience experience, it was time to expand outside of London.

Welcomestranger.com will allow you to create a profile, meet new friends, upload photos, join groups, chat live, win numerous prizes and enjoy your time abroad. The magazine is distributed throughout the UK and is packed with entertainment, travel and our member’s news and stories.

Welcome Stranger has a full time staff of 10 people and numerous other contributors all with the same outlook on life – you’re here for a good time not a long time. We look forward to meeting you in our network and we hope you enjoy our magazine
