Ok, so am I on my own on this or has the country been hoodwinked my Mr TV cook whore of the century.

Here is my beef (sorry for the pun).
Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall – launches a national campaign called Chicken Out! which helps you to understand the conditions in which most table birds are reared, and to put pressure on the industry to raise its standards. Chicken Out! is being led by River Cottage locals, especially in and around Axminster, who are boycotting intensively-reared chickens and choosing free range instead. A campaign that probably cost a few pounds to get off the ground and required time and dedication to be put in from a number of people to start with in the hope that we shall all sign up to a free range future, not to benefit the likes of the river cottage to sell the more expensive products, but to bring some morality and ethics to the way we treat our food stock – Good on you Hugh, I'm with you and hopefully others will follow (not to sure about Morrison's and the like). www.chickenout.tv

Jamie Olive – "Eat to save your life" ok, a hard-hitting programme, showing hidden threats of some of our favorite foods, hosted and assessed by our loveable Jamie Oliver and doctor Gunther von Hagens splicing through the gory inners to show us the internal effects. Now I don't think that Oliver delivered his best show here nor do I think that it had the desired impact, but I believe that it did have some at least and people will now think twice before eating certain foods. Jamie, sorry I missed "Jamie's Fowl Dinners" so I can't comment there.

Gordon Ramsay – "Cookalong live" now I have much respect for this guy, I have eaten at Royal Hospital Road and Gordon Ramsay at Claridge's and he is one of the worlds best chefs in my eyes, I like his nightmare programmes and have no time for his F word show BUT seriously was that your contribution to this challenge, an hour of your life on live tv, oh shame, shame on the self promotion machine that is GR.
So the outcome off the big food fight, well I believe it should finish off with either
a)   Gordon, naked, in a battery pen with 40,000 chickens
or
b)   Gordon, naked in WWF ring with Dr Gunther von Hagens

If I were Hugh or Oliver I would, in the words of Ramsay feel DONE!
